EnStadt:Pfaff

Fraunhofer IESE is one of nine members to work on the > EnStadt:Pfaff research project. The goal of the project is to develop a pioneering mini district in the former Pfaff factory area that implements and demostrates future oriented technologies applied to an urban context. The Reallabor PFAFF is sponsored by the Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie (BMWi) and the Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF). It is among six other flagship projects in Germany set up to showcase how the energy transition can be realized in cities.

The #pfaffhack22 is supported by the Volksbank Kaiserslautern with prize money in the amount of 2500€, the Pfalzwerke by providing the t-shirts and the city of Kaiserslautern by providing catering. The Pfaffhack team thanks all partners for making the Pfaffhack possible.
